INHALATION: 

Irritating to respiratory system.

SKIN CONTACT:

Can cause sever  irritation May cause sensitization by skin contact.

EYE CONTACT:

Can cause severe irritation May cause permanent damage to eyes.

INGESTION:

There may be irritation to the gastro- intestinal  tract with nausea and vomiting.

4. FIRST-AID MEASURE

INHALATION:

Remove to fresh air, rest; treat symptomatically .obtain medical attention immediately

SKIN CONTACT:

Brush off excess powder. Remove contaminated clothing . wash off affected are immediately with plenty of water .obtain medical attention immediately.

EYE CONTACT:

Brush off excess powder. immediately gently irrigate with clean water for at least 15minutes. Move eyeball and keep eyelids wide open and apart whilst irrigating. obtain medical attention immediately.

INGESTION:

If conscious washout mouth and give one pint of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting without  medical  advice. obtain medical attention.

 

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

EXTINGUISHING  MEDIA :

Not expected to burn. Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.

UNSUITABLE  EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:

Clean up promptly by scoop or vacuum. Reclaim into recovery or salvage drums. clean contaminated  surfaces with water or aqueous cleaning agents.

 

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

HANDLING:

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe . if clothing is contaminated. remove clothing and thoroughly wash the affected area. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. Handle with a scoop.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Keep container tightly closed and dry. store separately from bases. store separately from oxidizers . storage for more than two years  is not recommended.

Moisture . strongly acidic concentrated solutions should not be heated in closed poorly vented vessels as exothermic hydrolysis could generate sufficient steam to cause container  rupture. There is no danger of runaway  hydrolysis at temperatures obtainable at atmospheric pressure . Hydrogen gas may be formed during  acid cleaning . provide suitable venting when cleaning closed systems and keep flames away from the vent during and immediately after cleaning.
